Our new hybrid consultation has sparked a lot of interest and questions — and I’m so happy about that!
Please know that all of my consultations are enjoyable, useful, and meet my standards of precision and quality. Your choice should simply be based on your actual needs and your budget. I want to be as transparent as possible so that you can make the decision that suits you best.

For those who prefer to evaluate their makeup at a later time, we now offer the makeup consultation as a standalone service as well. You can therefore book a classic color analysis session as an introduction to personal color, and return later for a dedicated makeup consultation. In all cases, here is detailed information about the differences between our three consultations.
All consultations include
✔ your perfect palette and its characteristics
✔ your ideal neutral colors
✔ your signature colors
✔ the most flattering metallic finishes for jewelry and accessories
✔ a detailed report including all your results.

General recommendations vs Cocory palettes
An example of a general seasonal recommendation in classic color analysis might be:
“If your season is Winter, makeup colors with cool undertones are generally the best choice, such as a blue-based red lipstick.”
The issue is that general recommendations are not very precise. They require some trial and error, which can be enjoyable for those who like experimenting. Additionally, these recommendations generally apply only to the four main seasons, rather than to more refined sub-palettes (including neutral variations).

By contrast, Cocory palettes require very little explanation, because they are highly specific.
Following a draping process, you receive two color charts identifying your best makeup tones, including your most flattering lipstick shades. We work with 16 different makeup palettes, and the ones we identify for clients do not always correspond exactly with clothing color analysis as the classic seasonal system suggests. These palettes can better account for the neutrality of makeup colors and the contrast levels that suit you best. Finally, the Cocory colorimeter measurement allows us to identify your exact complexion shade, helping you find the right tone for concealers and foundations.
Cocory vs Écru hair color methods

The Cocory method is very systematic and focuses mainly on identifying the intensities that suit you best, and whether those intensities should lean warm or cool.
The Écru method, on the other hand, is highly precise. I work with more than 70 hair color swatches, varying in intensity and undertone, all carefully coded and named. Through a methodical visual draping process, we identify which tones harmonize best with your personal color analysis. This allows us to explore all your possible hair color options and give precise guidance to your hairstylist about the shade you would like to achieve (and in a realistic manner). This method works equally well whether you have gray hair or not.
The best prints: a unique Studio Écru addition

The print styling add-on has consistently been described by my clients as mind-blowing — in other words, they can hardly believe the difference once they undestand it!
The service beautifully completes personal color analysis. It provides precise recommendations regarding the types of prints that suit you best, in regards to their nature, density, colors, contrast, and more. My approach includes a draping method that allows you to visually confirm the results, fully see and integrate them, and remember them when shopping. I combine tools from Cocory as well as methods used by styling studios around the world to create a highly valuable evaluation for you.
I hope this article has helped you make an informed choice. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have additional questions.
